BoxingScene.com has been advised that an IBF final eliminator between undefeated Cuban Sullivan Barrera (16-0, 11KOs) and Karo Murat (27-2-1, 17KOs) has been finalized for December 12th in Glendale, Calif.

The fight will be televised by HBO Latino and will determine IBF/WBO/WBA light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev's IBF mandatory challenger.

Absolutely everyone passed on the Beterbiev fight, so after Beterbiev got injured the two guys that wanted to fight Beterbiev that didn't actualy pass end up fighting I guess? Its really confusing.

This right here, Beterbiev gets injured suddenly the division comes to life. I hope Barrera wins, he should but Beterbiev's injury is serious and he won't be back anytime soon.

barrera would have taken the fight but he can't travel to canada. now that the fights in the usa he took it since he wasn't removed from the rankings or anything.
