Comments Thread For: Pacquiao is Not Convinced Floyd Mayweather is Retired

Manny Pacquiao is not giving up in his quest to secure a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Mayweather decisioned Pacquiao after twelve rounds of action this past May at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao claimed that he entered the ring with a pre-existing shoulder that affected his performance during the fight. He says he further injured himself in the fourth round. The right shoulder was operated on a few days later.

95-5 purse split. take it or leave it. floyd is going to torture this sore loser during negotiations, he's alone in the driver seat now.

that L is gonna be pacs mind for the rest of his life. its okay man, when the biggest fight of this era is made, people from your country, people from other nations, haters of your rival put their hopes, dream, money on you, and you fail, thats difficult to deal with. if you would have showed up and let your hands go maybe the rematch would have been warranted. but since you looked pretty average vs floyd in the first fight and resulted to using an injury you suffered in the 4th round, no wait in the 3rd round, no wait 3 weeks before the first, no wait in 2008 around the oscar fight as an excuse the rematch would be even more lopsided. its okay man, just let bob do what he does and feed you to the next star in his stable.

Floyd did the same thing when he got lucky and won with DLH. He retired until DLH did so he wouldnt have to rematch him.

I mean lets look at it. If Manny was that easy to beat...who in their right mind would walk away from that much money. That much easy money.

Floyd knew Mannys injury was his best shot to win. Without that Floyd would look ****** in the ring with him.

Not a lot of people think he's going to stay retired. Manny should really move on from that though I can't blame him when that's an easy $75 mil payday.

A stellar performance against Crawford is the only thing Manny can do to entice Floyd into a rematch... Even then... wouldn't happen until September... I'm OK with a rematch... just as long at its regular price PPV... not gonna shell out 100$ to watch two fighters play it safe and graze each other all night...
