Comments Thread For: Farmer Gunning For Gary Russell, Fortuna, Pedraza

Tevin Farmer (20-4-1, 5 (KOs) impressed the boxing public with his last display, a stunning one punch knockout over Daulis Prescott on August 8. This is one of those fighters who not only improved his boxing, he improved his power and gets the right leverage on his punches now.

His improvement is mainly in condition and attitude. He's still awkward, throws odd punches, but what ever floats your boat. He has some speed, enough to make it work. Might not be enough against a tecnician like Pedraza.

If you have the Periscope app follow Tevin Farmer. I was on there with him one day and he was on there being brutally honest about how he felt about Loma, Russell, Pedraza, and many others. He was going in on Fortuna and now I know why.

Farmer and Pedraza would be good, Pedraza has too many skills, enough to make it ugly and win. Fortuna has skill and will, not saying he's the best, but I like how he gets his hands up. He doesn't do the shoulder roll pot shot grab or run thing. This would be a train wreck.

I like the guy... hope he gets his chance soon. A lot of people give up on fighters early when they have those kinds of records...

Should fight somebody in the top 10 of the wbc, a lot of them look meh though...so getting in the top 10 should be no problem.

I like Eden Sonsona for his upset....but he looks very meh, that upset really up him up there
