Multiple sources in the UK have advised BoxingScene.com that a deal has been reached for a super bantamweight blockbuster between IBF champion Carl Frampton (21-0, 14KOs) and WBA 'regular' champion Scott Quigg (31-0-2, 23KOs).

The fight is going to take place on February 27th at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, on Sky Sports Pay-Per-View. Frampton-Quigg is one of the biggest fights to be made on UK soil.

I don't think there's a venue big enough in Belfast to stage the fight in February. It was going to have to be in England somewhere.

Frampton probably got 60/40 or something close to compensate.
