    BoxingScene.com has been advised that Rances Barthelemy (23-0, 13KOs) vs. Denis Shafikov (36-1-1, 19KOs) will now take place on December 18th at The Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The two boxers will battle for the vacant IBF lightweight championship.

    The TV outlet has yet to be confirmed, but it's reportedly heading to Spike TV as part of the Premier Boxing Champions series.

        Why didn't Bey just fight Shafikov on that Top Rank card in China earlier this year?

          They originally came up to an agreement, but he didn't like the money. So they ended up going to purse bid and they lost. He would have wound up getting chump change. Way, way less than what they originally agreed on, lol. I think it went from like $200,000 to $65,000.
