Comments Thread For: Arum Details Process To Making Pacquiao's Next Bout

On Saturday night at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska, Terence Crawford successfully defended his WBO super lightweight title by stopping Dierry Jean in ten rounds. With the victory, which improved his record to a perfect 27-0 (19 KO's), he may have moved himself a step closer to facing Manny Pacquiao in 2016.

I don't care if Bradley hits Rios so hard he flies out of the ring, I don't want to see Manny-Bradley III. And I certainly don't want to see Manny-Rios II, even if Rios hits Bradley so hard his whole body explodes in a spectacle of light.

Like with Floyd fighting Berto for his last fight, there are no excuses (no "he deserves it") if Manny cherry picks for his last fight.

Bob,please just shut the **** up. The winner of Bradley rios face canelo? So there's a possibility (verry, verry, verry small one) that rios could become the lineal middleweight champ, before golovkin does? This is why the sport can be considered a joke sometimes.

Looks like Khan is being avoided again.

I think Mayweather-Pac rematch will happen in May...

The new Las Vegas MGM Arena is opening up and Floyd-Manny will happen there in May. It's too much money to reject....

In May-Pac rematch, both will make at least $75 million each. Fighting other guys like Cotto, Canelo, Khan, Bradley etc. they won't make more than $30-50 million. Fighting each other, they will make at least $75 each....

Floyd will beat Pacquiao in his 50th fight and retire with a 50-0.

I'm pretty confident that fight would take place at 154 with no WBC title at stake.

I dont think so. People have wised up and now realize that Pac brings nothing that can trouble Floyd. It will sell but not as big as the first or as big as you say. I would say winner of Cotto/Canelo is a bigger fight for Floyd but hes retired and i hope it stays that way

I would rather see a pacquaio mayweather rematch than any other bout because no other appeals....maybe we could see canelo or cotto vs pacquaio 154 ...that would be a big fight ...but let's be realistic mayweather is retired and pacquaio is retiring...they both know each other ...they both know they can make big money and they both ride off into the sunset forever with pretty full pockets....
