  • Comments Thread For: Wach Fully Explains Tense Relationship With Promoters

As previously reported on bokser.org and BoxingScene.com, Mariusz 'The Viking' Wach (31-1, 17 KOs) is practically fighting for free on November 4, when he confronts Olympic gold medal winner Alexander Povetkin (29-1, 21 KOs). Polish giant was having difficulties with his promoters and saw this fight as opportunity to get out of the contact. After this bout, Wach will become a free agent. The stakes are also high on the sport's level - Povetkin is the current mandatory to WBC heavyweight the title.

Being a professional boxer is hard enough without the crooks and creeps ripping off a fighter as was/is being done to Wach. May Kolodziej and Burchfield roast in hell for eternity.

I really like this post, it's probably the best article posting I have seen on this site in years. There is a lot of honesty and revelation here. I wish this was the approach taken more often then not when getting into personal matters of boxers outside of the ring.

        Craaaaazy.

I actually want him to do well now, even though I'm supporting Povetkin. His size will always make him an intriguing match-up for any HW. Plus, he has something that other giant HWs of the past like Tye Fields and Michael Grant didn't have - a fucking granite chin. I'd still like him to face Joshua next year, as that would be a guaranteed 12-rounder for AJ.
