At New York's Madison Square Garden, undefeated heavyweight contender Luis "The Real King Kong" Ortiz (23-0, 20 KOs) of Cuba scored a third round knockout over Matias Ariel "El Matador" Vidondo (20-2-1, 18 KOs) to claim the vacant WBA interim-heavyweight title.

Ortiz dropped Vidondo in round two and finished him with another knockdown in the third stanza.

The fight was part of the undercard to the Gennady Golovkin-David Lemieux HBO Pay-Per-View card.

It would be better if he fights Wilder, against Klitschko his chanes are verry Slim. But he could be to much for Wilder. Or against Povetkin after Povetkin whooped Wilder.

from the 3 or so fights ive seen ortiz has a throwaway jab, doesnt throw many combos, takes about as much pressure as he gives
