CHICAGO - Hometown-favorite Andrzej Fonfara (28-3 16 KOs) outslugged former world champion Nathan Cleverly (29-3, 15 KOs) over 12 grueling rounds on his way to a unanimous decision on Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on Spike from the UIC Pavilion in Chicago.

Fonfara and Cleverly exchanged punches throughout the night with neither man yielding an inch of ground. Cleverly won rounds by throwing punches from awkward angles and by countering effectively. Fonfara never seemed phased by Cleverly's power however, and was able to impose his will as the fight wore on. [Click Here To Read More]

what happened nathan did your chin suddenly become 1000 times better since the kov fight? he destroyed you instantly. fonfara couldn't even hurt you. this is the same guy that thinks he was winning the fight until the ref started carrying him.

              Bull****.

This is why a fighter's word alone on stuff like this doesn't automatically mean more than fans watching these fights. Cleverly had the ref carrying his barely conscious body back to the corner after the 3rd round against Kovalev.

I give a lot of credit to Clev his nose was blown up his ear was partially torn bleeding showed a toughness when he could of not but Kovalev hit him with those same shots and he was discombobulated in 3 rounds.

Fonfara is one of the better 2nd half fighters going right now has a way of just taking it too guys the longer the fight goes

Fonfara is decent, but he can't compete with the likes of Kovalev, Beterbiev and Ward (in case the guy takes his career seriously)... (Stevenson seems to show his age and I don't think he would give him a rematch at this point...)
