British star Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) is going to wait one more week for a deal to get reached for a clash with Manny Pacquiao in early 2016.

If the two sides are unable to reach an agreement in a week's time, Khan will move forward with his plans to return on a date in December.

Khan wants to avoid his past mistakes, where he wasted a lot of time sitting around with a false hope of landing a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. That fight never came and Khan's activity level since 2013 has suffered.

Just when you think Khan can get no lower, from walking away 'no longer fighting Manny Pacquiao' (never was!) and slighting Manny and his team to hanging around again....what a prick !
