Danny Garcia's quality is undoubtable and he was the man at 140. Postol is very good, they are two very elite guys and both the #1 who Lucas fought for titles. Broner hasn't fought anyone at 140 like either of them. You are selling DG and Postol way too short, very disrespectul. Lucas has come short only to the elite. The general consensus of unbiased fans is that Lucas won both. Also, look what happens after Broner looks like **** vs Porter and wins a title vs an inactive guy with a loss, his hype is back. If Lucas looks Impressive in his next fight against a good name people will jump on the bandwagon again. And how has Lucas had every political advantage? Broner was sold as Floyd's heir and has had all the financial backing and also Al Haymon who just bought him a title. Lucas was robbed twice due to his lack of exposure in the US.

Lucas earned the Garcia shot by beating the next best guy in Peterson and he earned Postol title fight by beating WBO #2 Ruslan and that should have been a title shot as Lucas was #1, instead Crawford got to fight glass jaw Dulorme for it. Lucas has only had 2 title shots and he's earned both the hard way.

The hard truth Lucas fans need to admit is he was given 2 very winnable fights to setup lucrative fights with Floyd and then Manny. He blew both of those opportunities.

Lucas problems are not political, they are in the mirror.

You keep ignoring the fact that he lost an eliminator to Zab Judah. He could have had that easy "Dulorme" title shot against Mabuza but he lost a fight he shouldn't have. It wasn't a robbery and even if you feel it was, it shouldn't have even been that close.

Again, if you can't get by the gatekeeper, how can you get to the castle? You have to go through hell to get there. Say what you want about those other guys but they got past the gatekeepers with no setbacks.

what? I'm not selling either short. I was one of the very few that picked danny and postol to win. I was also one of the earliest to do so and endured weeks of Lucas fans crap for doing so.

Lucas wasn't robbed. He lost. Yes, Broner lost, what does that have to do with this?

If you don't understand how being a GBP fighter and being with Haymon and now with GBP helps I don't know what to tell you.

Richard Schaeffer was on national ****ing TV and called him the next Manny Pacquio FFS. He was GBP's 2nd star after Canelo. He got the semi main on Canelo/Floyd FFS-you remember clowns said the fight sold because of Lucas being on the undercard. He leaves Haymon and HBO gives him a headlining fight.

He has had it easy since he signed with GBP. Each step up fight he got-Zab, Danny and Postol- he was the FAVORITE.

He just couldn't get the job done.

lit up like the fourth of july.

lesser fighters, peterson for example, won "world titles" at 140 lbs.

i don't nderstand the backlash against amtthysse. the time for that was when he was an unsubstantiated "hype job." remember the ajose fight and aftermath, the dallas jr fight and aftermath? that was hype, and embarassing.

after that matthysse went on to have a heck of a career, and cement himself as one of the best at 140 in a very solid era at the weight.

                  -Kotelnik
                  -Petr Petrov

                  Zab Judah:
-Mabuza (straight after getting a super close to decision to Lucas which many people feel he lost)

                  Amir Khan:
                  -Salita

And that's just to name a few.
Khan beat Kotelnik for the belt not Salita.

Dean come off it dude. Matts isn't with a small promotional outfit. I said since he signed with GBP.

No offense, but he should've beaten Zab easy. He didn't. He failed just like Broner did with Porter. Matts was favored against Danny-but once he didn't get a KO he was in a long tough fight. he lost. Just like Broner did with Maidana.

Yes, Broner just got gifted a title Saturday. Was it right that Broner coming off a loss won a vacant title over a guy that hadn't fought in 18 months. NO.

Would it have been right for Lucas to jump over proven WW's and got shots at Floyd and Manny had he beaten Danny or Postol-No, but that was what would've happened and you nor ANY lucas diehard would have complained.

politics got him shots, his lack of skills prevented him from winning.
