Comments Thread For: Kubrat Pulev-George Arias is Set For October 17th

Kubrat Pulev (20-1, 11 KOs) returns with a renewed vigour on October 17 as the Bulgarian heavyweight star looks to get his World title ambitions back on track with a victory over George Arias (56-13, 42 KOs) at the dm-Arena in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Pulev has been out of the ring since November 2014, where despite a brave performance, the 34 year-old failed to dethrone Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Following a period of transition, which has seen the ‘Cobra’ team up with legendary German coach Ulli Wegner, the former European Champion has made some important changes and believes he is now ready to work his way back into World title contention. [Click Here To Read More]

Pulev was in really lean shape in some recent photos on his FB. Best I've seen him in. Hopefully he isn't one of those Klitschko opponents who just curls up and dies after the loss.

Wlad killed Pulev's mind and ego, won't come back on top level.

I have to disagree, Wlad made Pulev a better fighter just like he did Povetkin. Guess we´ll just have to wait and see.

          A so-called top 5 heavyweight fighting Hughie Fury's leftovers?

          Jesus.

            Working on defense, sounds sensible.

What's trolling about what I said? If you're a top 5 heavyweight, some say top 3 , then fight someone good. Pulev has made a career out of fighting over the hill / journeymen fighters and it doesn't seem to change here.

Arias ffs. Go and do like Povetkin if you're the real deal.

Embarrassing. If Anthony Joshua fought Arias people would sniff at it, let alone a so-called top heavy in Poolev.
