Very impressive for 2 weeks notice and traveling a long distance for a guy who has only won more than a 6 round decision once. I don't know why that idiot on here with the lame Joe Gallagher conspiracy theories was claiming that Mckenzie was going to take a dive. He was going to fight tooth and nail to try and change his life. He should be rewarded with a full training camp and a rematch with Ramirez

I watched this on a feed. McKenzie possible earned a win, way more punches thrown and landed. But Ramirez is a tough tough guy, a brute in the way he marches forward absorbing everything McKenzie threw. I guess the judges gave high marks to Ramirez for aggression.

There should be a rematch but I doubt there will be - can't see where the money would come from to tempt Ramirez out of Argentina unless this could be made a co-feature on a Sky PPV or something similar.
I'd like to see Ramirez in with the beast from Russia, Kudryashov who should be targeting this belt as he says he prefers not to fight other Russians.

I would not be suprised if Tony Bellew got the next shot the way he was talking about in this weeks boxing news magazine as he claimed in it he has a agreement with Ramirez's promoters for a fight in December. He was also offered this fight at short notice but wanted a full training camp and more money. As they say money talks and Mckenzie does not have a solid fanbase in the UK like Bellew's liverpool crowd and with the sky tv budget.

          Bellew should beat Ramirez.........................
... But why Kudryashov is rated at #7 by IBF?

Kudryashov is fighting for the WBO belt next more than likely

And I'm good on a rematch it was a pretty awful fight maybe the short notice affected both guys neither seemed that interested in trying to hard to win and to think this was for a title

Ovill was throwing more but most were landing on gloves looked fairly even throughout not a bad decision

I saw Mckenzie just nicking it , having thrown the greater volume and moving well.He was at times caught with what seemed heavier punches but this fear factor was not enough to warrant keeping a title and the champion seemed over the moon when the draw was announced . I hope Mckenzie gets plenty of notice and they order a immediate rematch.

A rematch outside of South America would be fair!
