WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs) has been warned, that IBF middleweight champion David Lemieux (34-2, 31 KOs) is not simply coming to fight - he's coming to win.

Lemieux and Golovkin will collide in a high stakes unification on October 17th at New York's Madison Square Garden. The fight will be carried by HBO Pay-Per-View.

Lemieux is looking to change the landscape of the entire division by knocking off the fighter perceived to be the top dog at 160-pounds.

This fight is interesting just for the fact that Golovkin can be hit and has probably never been hit with Lemieux's level of power.

That being said, it's a big long shot that Lemieux lands something that stops Golovkin before Golovkin lands something that stops Lemieux. I'm expecting an early GGG KO.

To be fair with Lem he was hardly 23 years old by then. He was looking good in the fight previously, and the TKO he suffered had a lot to do with his exhaustion.

But anyway, I agree that his chances to even go the distance are very slim.
