Floyd hyped up berto and got tmt and mayweather promotions to add to the pile. Even floyd sr would speak and say the truth that berto sucks and is a bum and d level.
All you heard. He is a former 2 time world champion.

All that he was a champion and former champion garbage talk. Paper champ status Man gtfoh with that garbage mr iv

You got spence calling out thurman cause he feels his style will beat his style. Call out alexander . Call out porter. Call out garcia. Or get your assssss in line and earn it.
Dude has done nothing but beat d level guys off layoffs on one weeks notice.

Theopane is fighting duds. Step up your game.

Broner trying to get dudes on catchweights. Step up and fight thurman or mathysse. Make the garcia fight already.

Gary russell gotbexposed by loma who had 2 fights.
Now he beats a perdect style in overated gonzales and goes back to the tba . Shhht he fought tba 6 times now. Who wants to see that fight?

Chris pearson hasnt fought anbody, dude is a joke. While julian williams has had a very good run coming up vs tough undefeated guys. Good solid fighters at his level. Now he is ready for lara and canelo and cotto and andrade.

Jack williams and thurman are the only guys getting after it. And they are being held back to extent
Damn you just hate boxing sounds like unless you're just acting like mismatches only happen among PBC fights. You should watch UFC. They got the best fighting the best monthly unlike boxing.

I see beach assness when i see it. And haymon is afraid to get overhyped guys like pearson knocked the fck out

Why not make pearson vs williams . Why not make broner vs thurman. Why not make russell vs davis. Why not make spence vs garcia?? Its garbage.

Idk man it just kinda sounds like you don't like boxing to me cuz that **** is going on all the time with different promoters & en******. I mean ffs HBO showed Kov vs the pizza delivery guy just a couple months back & HBO is the #1, top of the food chain entity in boxing. Plus HBO had GGG vs the ESPN guy with 5 KO's not long before that. And remember this is HBO, #1 in the business, not some group thats been around for 6 months. Fortunately or unfortunately boxing has such a loyal hardcore fanbase that people in boxing know that you'll get x viewers from just having boxing on at all regardless of the caliber of fight & they all take advantage of that.

I am getting tired of people acting as though this is only an issue for Al Haymon fighters. Fighters across the board are fighting overhyped opponents, but that doesn't get in the way of people disgracing themselves over a knockout win against the likes of Nadjib Mohammedi.

I love that more boxing is on TV. Im getting to know and watch fighters that would have never got chance on the big networks cause they only push certain fighters.

So to answer question..NO! There are some fighters that will shine given the opportunity and maybe some will emerge to make sport more interesting.
Fonfara did. Glowacki did. McDonnell/Kameda did. Rios did. Provo did. Herrera did. Could go on but wont.

Nowadays, when watching boxing, you entertain yourself by rooting for the underdog, which is automatic in most cases. You get excited when the underdog is beginning to land his shots, finally. But sadly the beating is almost always one-sided and a KO waiting to happen. At this point it becomes boring and frustrating. Rinse and repeat. You're like a robot being instructed to enjoy something that doesn't seem right. Then you wonder when this hypejob is going to get matched up with real competition. Two years, five years? It seems a never-ending frustration. It happens over and over again.

Is Haymon to be blamed for his fighter taking on mismatches...

Or is the blame on the fighters themselves? I remember reading an article that said the fighters are given a list of names and they decide themselves whom they will fight. Now, Haymon has made some good fights and has allowed his fighters to take on some difficult challenges, for example:

                    Lucas Matthysse vs Danny Garcia

Floyd Mayweather jr vs Manny Pacquiao

Adrien Broner vs Shawn Porter and Marcos Maidana.

                    LSC vs Abner Mares

                    Gary Russel Jr vs Lomachenko

Etc... With that said, do you think it's the fighters whom choose to fight horrendous opposition and play it safe, or is it Haymon himself protecting his investments?

I really don't know, the **** has like 99.9% of boxers yet gives us a handful of fights.

I saw an interview with Angel Garcia and he said "they gave us 5 names, whoever is the killer of the 5 we take him"

                      Then he fought Ron Salsa.
