  • Comments Thread For: Bradley: Rios, Everyone Else Think I'm Damaged Goods

Timothy Bradley is convinced Brandon Rios sees him as “damaged goods.”

In fact, Bradley believes his legendary war with Ruslan Provodnikov in March 2013 and his recent 12th-round scare against Jessie Vargas have completely changed the public’s perception of him as the two-division champion heads toward a Nov. 7 welterweight title fight against Rios (33-2-1, 24 KOs) at UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas (HBO).

Teddy is senile and Bradley is brain damaged...will make for interesting conversations, getting all worked up about pride, heart, family, america, etc.... They will both be exausted by the end of training camp! By week two, Tim constantly repeating "location, location, location"... (ps: i wonder if Teddy asked Haymon about it before helping an Arum fighter on an HBO card?)

Well there's degrees. Bradley is not what he was but he is far from being damaged goods. In fact Rios will allow him to show us what a great boxer he still is.
Re Vargas, he just got clipped hard as he relaxed coming into the final bell.

Why does everyone think Bradley is a great boxer, Quit the stereotyping. He is a good fighter , solid in every aspect, but he is not a slick fighter. He has a tendency to try to be tough and it gets him in trouble. I think Rios is going to get to him. Vargas is not a big puncher and had him on shaky legs in the last part of round 12. Timmeh should have stayed at 140 where he had more pop.

Before the first Manny fight he was a blue collar fighter, that could get out of the way of a few punches. Now he is more of a I gotta prove how tough I am to my own detriment kind of guy. Back then, he would outbox Rios, now it just depends on which Bradley comes in the ring.

bradley is definately damaged goods, i mean how could he not be, from the provodnikov fight alone...

but rios is x2 more brain damaged, he was getting beaten up by chaves before the ludicrous reff with the ridiculous hair stopped it ( i was thankfull at the time as i bet on rios but still was laughing like wtf?)

Not to mention rios slurs his speech like hell, and suddenly 'he's back' after beating up possibily the most damaged goods in boxing in Alvarado

Bradley schools him all night long.
