Comments Thread For: Ryota Murata To Make U.S. Debut on Bradley-Rios Card

The undercard is still taking shape for the November 7 HBO-televised welterweight clash between Timothy Bradley and Brandon Rios, but will include no fewer than two Olympic Gold medalists.

Ryota Murata joins fellow 2012 Olympic Gold medalist Vasyl Lomachenko in supporting action, with both fighters appearing in separate bouts at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lomachenko—who claimed Olympic gold in 2008 and 2012—defends his featherweight title versus Mexico’s Romulo Koasicha in the opening bout of the HBO doubleheader.

About time! Tony Jeter would be a good start, then aim for Heiland.

Looking forward to seeing Murata...no TV, so I guess it'll be streaming.

Murata should fight more often, hes waisting time. He has the potential to be a Top Middleweight and become a worthy challenger for GGG.

lots of excellent prospects in the middleweight division at the moment. it's a shame that my favourite one, derevyanchenko is stuck on the pbc side of the fence

Derevyanchenko may end up being the best prospect of them all. He's similar to Lomochenko. Khytrov & Antoine Douglass also look top notch but stuck in the PBC along with Eubank.

Saunders, Magomedov, Soro, Ogogo, and Quigg are free - just too young. Korobov starts his comeback next month.
