    Top middleweight contender Tureano Johnson (18-1, 13 KOs) recently announced a number of changes to his team which included promoter, manager and trainer. The Ba***** native last fought in January with a stoppage of Alex Theran and along with the announcement that he put pen to paper with Golden Boy Promotions, also came the news that he will square off against Irishman Eamon O’Kane on the undercard of Gennady Golovkin versus David Lemieux.         that fight vs okane is an ibf eliminator just in case u didn't know. i can see johnson taking a step aside deal for the winner of ggg lemieux to unify with the lee saunders winner.

          IBF rules state that a mandatory can be put on hold for a unification fight. Conceivably Golovkin could fight the winner of Lee/Saunders then the winner of Alvarez/Cotto before Johnson.

          Personally I think Johnson should have to fight someone legit like N'Dam before he can become a mandatory. But Johnson will probably stay idle waiting for his mandatory shot like Heiland's doing.
