The former four-division champion asked the president for a passport when they had tea in Crimea recently.

The Kremlin on Saturday released a decree granting citizenship to Jones, who had met ***** in August while visiting the Crimean city of Sevastopol.

He actually has to pay more taxes being a dual citizen. But it's worth it since he does more business there. He also doesn't have to worry about applying for a visa anytime he wants to go to Russia. He can come and go as he pleases. Lots of benefits.

He's a dual citizen, meaning the IRS can try to grab his US assets or US based income. Remember he still does things like US based commentating.

He can definitely cheat if he wants though. But him getting Russian citizenship isn't about trying to cheat tax.
