Jermall Charlo gets his long-awaited shot at a super welterweight title, and does so against Cornelius Bundrage, who managed to jump him in line and claim his second title in the process.

The two will collide Saturday afternoon at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. NBC will air live as part of the ongoing Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) series. [Click Here To Read More]

I can see why everybody's picking Jermall to beat K9, but this is a MAJOR step up in class for Jermall. He could very well not be anywhere near as good as as his record or brother would indicate. I could see him getting clipped and stopped or even outboxed in a awkward fight.

Usually when a guy like this has spent his whole career fighting low-level journeymen there's a good reason for it. Jermell on the other hand has beaten numerous high-level journeymen Chatman, D.Hopkins, Ota, Yorgey, Rodriguez, and even contenders like Rosado and Matirosyn.

I'm picking Bundrage in an ugly fight.

Alot gave said Jermall is the better Charlo. I don't think they'd have put him in this tough if he wasn't ready. Hell he was supposed to fight Molina 18 months ago.

Jermall is more entertaining than Jermell, but there should be no mistake about who's more talented. Jermell has an impressive resume. If Jermall was on that level, I have to believe they would've been matching him up similarly.

In terms of Bundrage/Jermall - we've seen this scenario numberous times already where these guys are matched soft as hell and then step up to a mid-level fighter and struggle. JLeon Love and Tony Harrison getting stopped. Dominic Wade should've lost to Soliman. Anthony Dirrell was ill prepared for Jack. Russell ill prepared for Lomachenko. Wilder's not being prepared for Povetkin.

There's varying quality of journeyman out there. The type who'll push you and the type who are there to fall over when you hit them. Jermall's been fed the later. I dare say K9 will be the hungrier fighter in this fight. He's had a tough road and not the one who's been served softball fights for good money like Jermall.

I remember K9 literally running away from Ishe in that fight and hasn't faced a big strong puncher in quite awhile once he gets tagged it could become a hold-a-thon but maybe he'll fight back just enough to keep it interesting
