Las Vegas. Should Floyd Mayweather Jr end his boxing career on Saturday as planned, his legacy will be underpinned by the extraordinary numbers he has brought to the sport, says former world heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield.

Mayweather has said that his welterweight title defence against fellow American Andre Berto will be his final fight and should he win, as is widely expected, he would match the 49-0 record of former heavyweight great Rocky Marciano.

Look no one will probably see this or respond but I don't care. First of all, mayweather is an amazing boxer. Is he the best ever? Hell no, but he's def in the top 25 of all time. Top 3 defensive fighters ever. SMARTEST business/boxer of all time.

Take the least amount of punishment as possible. Very smart.

I love Floyd. He's amazing. Been a fan since the Olympics. Watched all his fights over and over again. Learned a tremendous amount from him regarding skill concerning fighting.

Now on to pacquioa.... Pacman is also an amazing! Atg fighter.

I thought the match between them was close. It was a chess match. I've watched it over and over and I have it a close fight. I have no problem with mayweather getting the decision.

Now I know people will say I'm crazy for saying it was competitive, but it was.

The difference was that Floyd looked like he always does in a fight. Methodical, in control, precise.

But pac looked different then usual. He tried to play chess with mayweather and I think he did damn good, but it's different than what we are used to seeing from pac.

Floyd looked like Floyd in the fight and pac looked different so it favored Floyd.

Floyd should have fought this dude years ago when he was in his prime. I would have slightly favored pac around 09'.

Regardless, they fought now and Floyd won officially. So please stop talking sheet about pac. He is an amazing fighter, one of the best ever! And guess what?....

Floyd sealed a victory over him!

          Props to mayweather!

Holyfield was a great fighter and warrior. I wish he had managed his money like Mayweather though, then he'd be as rich.
