As part of the fights of Champions Night program on November 7 in Salle des Etoiles in Monte Carlo, WBA interim bantamweight champion Yonfrez "The Executioner" Parejo of Venezuela will defend his title against Kazakhstan's Zhanat Zhakiyanov.

Zhakiyanov (25-1, 18 KO) is the second ranked WBA fighter in the division. Mandatory challenger Parejo (16-1-1, 7 KOs) won the belt in 2014 in the United Nations Park Caracas by defeating Dominican Luis Hinojosa.

Easier to fight this guy then stick around in WBC and have to look forward to any number of tougher opponents plus Mcdonnell will probably vacate and you can get a upgrade
