#50 should be against Hatton at a 300-pound catchweight.

People that say that he ran is just making excuses for Manny not being able to box. This is not the BBK or UFC. Do you really expect Floyd or anyone to stand and trade. If you watched the fight, he stepped away, clinched, or moved off the ropes. This is boxing and Manny's camp knew that Floyd would not be an idiot to stand with him. They both have their styles, so why wasn't Manny cutting off the ring?

Mayweather is a CLINCHER/RUNNER and 90% of ppl that buy his ppv is waiting for him to loose nothing less nothing more... i bet everybody bought his last PPV just for Pacman.

I don't think he'll blow all his money but I do think the danger zone for him is legal ishhh. Just hope he cuts down on the entourage a bit and makes that circle around him a whole lot smaller.
True, maybe he focuses all his energy in his family and promotional company. Time for his company to sign some high calibur fighters.

Its quite possible one of his crew will end up embezzling quite a sizeable chunk of his money away. Or he will get hooked into investment schemes.

His money will last longer than it has in the past, but it wont last him forever.
Pretty funny that your hatred for Mayweather led you to claim that a Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita will depreciate in value.

Mayweather wont blow all of his money.

That 4.5mil car = 1% of his earnings over the last 18 months.

A few years ago maybe, but not now.

if he returns, it wont be for money.

Dude was mega fkn rich, richer than most A-listers..... then he signed a 250mil deal with Shotime..... then he made 275mil off the Pacquiao fight.

I dont think so, thank goodness.

I am very surprised that fight did not happen this year..... if that fight was likely, Mayweather would have jumped on Cotto already.

I am going to go against the trend......

Mayweather will retire as planned, and he wont come back.

There are lots of indicators imho, at least 4.....but could always be wrong.
People get too caught up in the numbers. Yes Floyd is rich but let's not forget.... Uncle Sam takes 40% of his earnings. Another 15% goes to Haymon. Then he has his training expenses.

I think there is a huge difference going thru $20M & $500M doe. And from my understanding Mayweather's first retirement was ended cuz he did get hustled for 8 digits. I suppose that was a great learning experience for him that he isn't likely to duplicate. And while I think the Ford truck you got 2yrs of payments on depreciates in value I don't think these $1M+ cars are only worth $500K once you drive it off the lot. I suspect many of them gain value due to limited numbers or other factors that aren't relatable to most of us. I suspect Mayweather has enough money that as long as he doesn't run afoul of the IRS he's good for life.
