Comments Thread For: Usyk Destroys Muller in Three, Berinchyk Wins

2012 London Olympics heavyweight gold medalist Olexander Usyk (8-0, 8 KOs) continued his South African road of mayhem as he drubbed and then stopped Johnny Muller (19-5-2, 13 KOs) of Roodepoort, Gauteng, with a second shy of the end of round three of their twelve-round minor title affair. 28-year old Usyk further strengthened his position of a real cruiserweight contender. Usyk vs. Muller was a fight of the night, held at the Kiev Palace of Sports in Kiev, Ukraine, by K2 Promotions. Kiev mayor, K2 owner and ex-WBC heavyweight champion Vitaliy Klitschko enjoyed his protege's performance at ringside. [Click Here To Read More]

Usyk is amazing. He does start slow (the first two rounds or so), but most boxers do.
Amazing movement for a big guy. Hopefully, he gets a ranked opponent next time. He should also look to stay more active. I think he'll be able to beat Holyfield's record.

Berinchyk looked better than I thought. Just like every other boxer, in the early stages, he still has a lot to learn!
    He showed great footwork though.
Hopefully, they keep him active. That's how you'll learn more about professional boxing, by staying active.

I hope Usyk steps up and fights a better opponent next time out.

Bellew, Kalenga, Mchunu, Wlodarczyk, McKenzie or Ramirez would be satisfactory.

Yeah super quick off his toes, nice to see in a big man. Hell of a ****ing accurate uppercut as well.

Maybe Hearn can get Bellew a title eliminator against Usyk.
          Eddie loves a title eliminator

Usyk will need to travel to Liverpool to fight that big dope Tony Bellew but I think this is a good fight for both but more so Usyk whom I can only assume would give Bellew a terrible schooling.

Do you see Bellew asking Usyk to come in the UK?

Would be a one sided beat down, Bellew wouldn't be standing after 3-4 rounds.

                    No chance that fight happens.
