Comments Thread For: Cotto, Canelo, De La Hoya on Facing GGG-Lemieux Winner

On October 17th at the Madison Square Garden in New York, a middleweight unification bout between WBA/IBO champion Gennady Golovkin and IBF belt-holder David Lemieux takes place. Then on November 21st, WBC champion Miguel Cotto faces Saul Alvarez in Las Vegas inside the Mandalay Bay.

The WBC has ordered that based on Golovkin's status as their 'interim champion' - the winners of these two fights must fight next.

Cotto - If GGG makes me the most money I'll fight him.

Oscar - What if there is a rematch? What if there is a triology? Why fight GGG when we can fight Cotto at least twice? What if he knows Canelo has no chance of winning? He does.

But this is about the time where Canelo fans will say Cotto is ducking and Canelo is wiling to fight GGG after Cotto, the same night even.

I thought he was fighting at 155 because he didn't want to be champ at 154? Did Oscar actually say this? If that's the case then GGG and Canelo should fight for the battle of the hypocrites.
