  • Comments Thread For: Golovkin's Coach on KO in 4 Outcome, Lemieux's TKO Loss

New York - The trainer of Gennady Golovkin (33-0, 30 KO’s), Abel Sanchez, has never been shy to speak his mind. When the fight between his fighter and David Lemieux (34-2, 31 KO’s) was made, Sanchez went on the record and predicting a 4th round knockout for Golovkin.

The fight takes place on October 17th at New York's Madison Square Garden.

Sanchez says it was not meant to disrespect Lemieux but feels the fight can be a Tommy Hearns-Marvin Hagler type fight - quick but all action.

Not just slightly. He improved his game and physically he improved as well, looks much stronger. And his stamina is better too. There is no way he would lose to Alcine and Rubio again.

He's much improved, if not, rosado and ndam would have beaten him. He dominated those guys.

Lemieux did not dominate either Rosado or N'Dam. He won and did well, but there was no domination. Check out the N'Dam scores and see he mostly lost the fight outside the knockdown rounds.

Team GGG got together and came up with new talking points. Sanchez did a lot of damage to the fight earlier when he told the truth about Lemieux by saying Stevens was a harder fight. Loeffler did a lot of damage to the fight when he admitted this isn't a PPV fight and the only reason it's on PPV is because HBO wouldn't go over budget to make this fight. Now they're trying to make Lemieux credible, it started with GGG saying he's scared of Lemieux

Lemule has gone on a substantial KO streak since the Alcine loss. Even against N'Dam, he dropped him what 4 or 5 times? Something has changed, training, nutrition, roids, something but he has turned into a wrecking machine over the past 5 years.

He's avoided punchers since his loss to Alcine. Since the Alcine fight his opponents have a 44% KO. If you include Alcine the average drops to 43%.

GGG is vastly over hyped and overrated all a sham

GGG cannot beat Ward at 168lbs in Oakland-EVER.
Bearcat one of the world's leading boxing experts says emphatically that Ward dismantles GGG at 168lbs and exposes the flaws in the overrated smaller untested GGG. Buy the steak which is Ward not the sizzle which is GGG. FACT.
