Comments Thread For: GGG Coach: After Golovkin Destroys Ward, Then What?

NEW YORK – Beyond who’s the “A” side of the promotion and what the maximum allowable weight should be, Gennady Golovkin’s trainer has another doubt about a seemingly ill-fated fight against Andre Ward.

“Take it a step further,” Abel Sanchez told BoxingScene.com earlier this week before a press conference for the Golovkin-David Lemieux middleweight championship unification fight Oct. 17 at Madison Square Garden. “Let me ask you this – let’s just say we did fight Ward. Nobody wants to fight him now. When he beats Ward, what the hell do we do then? Who’s going to fight him? Klitschko?” [Click Here To Read More]

Ward has fought good punchers since then and hasn't been hurt. He has good power but Rosado and Murray took him into the late rounds and his power might not be the same at 168.

If GGG actually had the heart or dare to be great, there's always Kovalev at 175 but we all know they will duck Ward. Make excuses on why they can't fight him. Shame on Sanchez

Haters be like "HE OLD DOOOOOOEEEEEE.... heeeee..... heeee was never dat good neway DOE...... heeeeeee" Meanwhile, Gennady is still considered, even now, as the GREATEST/Most Avoided fighter of all time so haters have to deal with that.

You left out Sanchez calling Ward the best fighter in the world that was on this video interview.

Sanchez is obviously right. GGG just destroys Ward.

Everyone is hollering for him to fight some one but all those someone's won't line up !!!

Jr would be carried out of the ring so that fight won't happen.

Hopefully the winner of Cotto canelo will fight him for the lineal title .

No one can say GGG has not taken on all comers

              Ward said NO doe
