    LOS ANGELES - Mexican power-punchers Hugo Ruiz (35-2, 30 KOs) and Julio Cesar Ceja (28-1, 26 KOs) square off in a super bantamweight world title match as the televised opener for Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on ESPN and ESPN Deportes on Saturday, August 29 from STAPLES Center in Los Angeles beginning at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.

    The evening's main event features the highly anticipated featherweight showdown between undefeated two-division world champion Leo "El Terremoto" Santa Cruz (30-0-1, 17 KOs) and former three-division world champion Abner Mares (29-1-1, 15 KOs).

      Good fight as well as a pretty decent undercard. I would love to support Haymon fully but he's just not consistent in putting on the best fights, he has the stable to do it!

                  Angulo has looked bad lately. They should have stopped the Kirkland fight after the 1st round, he has taken too many blows. He had some good moments, but punching bags only last so long, he also moved up in weight.
                  He needs to fight Kirkland, they can make some money, but what if Angulo fights GGG or Cotto? I don't want to see that type of blood bath, at least with Kirkland, they about both done, fight could go either way, would be good while it last.
