New York - 50-year-old future Hall of Famer Bernard Hopkins (55-7-2, 32 KO’s) wants one more fight as his final swan song. And this time he is aiming at WBO super middleweight champion Arthur Abraham (43-4, 29 KO’s) as his next target.
“I’m not retired,” Hopkins said at the press conference to announce the fight between Gennady Golovkin and David Lemieux. “I want to make another historic achievement. I skipped over the super middleweight division. I want from 160 straight to 175 and they said I was crazy. I see a guy out there in Arthur Abraham. He’s a big name and a very durable guy to fight. He has one of the toughest defense like Winky Wright.”
