WBA World welterweight champion Keith “One Time” Thurman (26-0, 22 KOs), from Clearwater, Florida, was awarded Boxer of the Month for July by the World Boxing Association Rankings Committee.

Quigg's 2 round KO of Martinez was better than either.

WBA sucks tbh, worst of the sanctioning bodies right now.

Stopping a guy in 8 with an injured left hand? Eating a good body shot and not going down?

Exactly! From the way people here talk, if I didn't see the fight I would have thought that Thurman was completely dominated in the fight. Collazo landed one good shot and all of a sudden Thurman had a bad performance? Even though he dominated pretty much every other moment in the fight? Ridiculous!

With that said though, no way should One Time have gotten that over Kovalev though, Sergey has been a flat out terminator. Probably the most impressive fighter in boxing right now.
