Comments Thread For: Quigg: 50-50 I'll Face Frampton, Problem is McGuigan

A bout between Scott Quigg and Carl Frampton would be one of the more anticipated match-ups that could be made in the UK. Both are undefeated and possess major title belts. However, like many other potential bouts what keep them from becoming a reality is the business of boxing.

truth is quigg does not deserve a 50/50 split with carl...he's giving u a shot at his belt, and he has an audience with our without you in ireland...if is a 50/50 shot of the fight happening i hope they are realizing they will have to bow down..he's trying to get paid

if quigg is thinking he takes more than 1.25.-1.5 million he better pump his breaks..

Mcguigan may well be a problem but it doesnt excuse the fact that Hearn keeps making random public offers that dont make any sense.

'Flat rate 1.5million', '60/40 to the winner' and 'two fight deal' dont sound normal to me and make it look like Hearn is stalling by offering deals he knows Frampton will turn down

Negotiate a deal and do the fight ffs. All this posturing is boring. SBW division should have been so good over last few years.

          50-50?

How typical, pricing themselves out of a fight they know they will lose. 60-40 is even being generous to Quigg, but it gets the deal done.

He's saying there is a 50-50 shot of facing him, not a request for a 50-50 split.

                in due time

Let Hearn and Haymon hammer out the deal (likely 60-40 Frampton, from the 18k-seat M.E.N. Arena, on Sky Box Office with the US rights going to Showtime [PBC is trying to present a unified image to prospective advertisers and content partners, and bringing the UK presentation to PBC throws that off], and an option for a rematch, with initial terms, if the fight is exciting enough). Hopefully Haymon and Frampton, for that matter, can get McGuigan to back off and let the negotiations come about.
