Triple world champion Humberto 'Zorrita' Soto is hoping for much bigger things with a victory over undefeated rising contender Antonio Orozco. The fight is set for an HBO doubleheader on October 3rd at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

The last time Soto fought at the venue, he was knocked out in a very excited fight by Lucas Matthysse, who appears in the HBO televised main event against Viktor Postol for the vacant WBC junior welterweight championship.

Soto is the very definition of a throwback fighter..if he gets beat he works his way back up the rankings, thats why hes one of my favs. All these young "stars" need to follow that structure and stay active after defeat instead of waiting a yr or 2. Id favor Soto over alot of the top guys at 140 and it bcuz he is very fundamentally sound and gained that from experience and ACTIVITY.
