Full Sail University, Winter Park, Florida - Javontae Starks endured a tough test in maintaining his unbeaten record, managing a hard-fought eight round decision over Carlos Galvan. Scores were 76-75 Galvan, 76-75 Starks and 77-74 Starks.
The difference in the fight turned out to be a knockdown in the 8th and final round. Starks floored Galvan with a body shot, ultimately producing the split decision win as opposed to having to live with a draw.
