  • Comments Thread For: Jacobs Says Mission Accomplished: I'm First To Stop Mora

Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York - Danny Jacobs earned his 30th victory and the 27th knockout of his career when he stopped Sergio Mora in the second round of their contest. But it wasn’t without nervous moments as the two traded knockdowns in the first round. It was the first time Jacobs was dropped since suffering the only defeat of his career to Dmitry Pirog several years ago.

Disappointed in the lack of sportmans ship in Jacobs last night... I'm a fan of his and hope to see him act differently if a situation occurs in the same fashion

Only a Haymon fighter would take credit for winning like that.

And I like Jacobs, but this is ridiculous.

So instantly saying no rematch after the fight and now saying he stopped Mora...lost a fan here - good luck in life, again.

Jacobs is a joke. He pushed Mora it was a shove/slip that sent Mora to the ground not that phantom punch that missed. Mora hurt his leg and couldn't continue. Bragging about this win that should be a No Contest? What a loser. Jacobs is still Chinny and gets killed when Haymon let's him fight anybody good. By far the weak link at 160 the fact he actually has a paper belt is hilarious.
