Comments Thread For: Jhonny Gonzalez Blasts Out Hashimoto in Two Rounds

Auditorio Bicentenario, Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico - Former multi-division world champion Jhonny Gonzalez (58-9, 49 KOs) recovered from his bruising March loss, by knocking out Kazuki Hashimoto (11-5, 7 KOs) of Japan in the second round.

Gonzalez, still one of the most dangerous one-punch sluggers in the sport, landed a hard left to drop Hasimoto in the second and he was in no condition to continue the contest with the referee calling it.

Miura would demolish Gonzales, though it may be fun whilst it lasts

Gonzales should go for the weaker champions of the division, in Pedraza and Martinez. He stands a chance with those

Uchiyama/Miura will brutally knock him out

Looked like a slugger almost any time I've watched his fights.

Gonzalez is without a doubt heavy-handed but a bit slow hence his defeat to Russell.

It's possible he might capture a title at this weight but Uchiyama will be too much for him though. Miura too, although that is maybe a better fight.
