  • Comments Thread For: Second Andrade Lawsuit Filed Against Roc Nation Sports

BoxingScene.com has been advised that a second lawsuit, in connection to unbeaten Demetrius Andrade, has been filed against Roc Nation Sports.

The initial lawsuit against Roc Nation was filed on July 29th, by Andrade's promoters Star Boxing and Banner Promotions - who are seeking $10 million in damages - with both promoters claiming that RNS interfered with the promotional contract of Andrade.

Attorney Jonathan Kraut [who is handling the initial suit for Star and Banner] informed BoxingScene that Andrade has now personally sued Roc Nation Sports for damages. And that lawsuit was filed on Friday, also in New York Supreme Court.

Now he's gone and done it.

"...the minions of Roc Nation enticed Andrade, Andrade’s father and Andrade’s manager, Edward Farris (“Farris”), to attend a meeting at Roc Nation’s Manhattan corporate headquarters on September 23, 2014, which included a tour of Roc Nation’s facilities and operations. "

      They're gonna be angry!!!

Should sue his management. Rookie mistake you never turn down a real deal for just a verbal agreement. If Roc Nation wasnt serious enough to create the paper work should of took the fight. Likely Roc Nation was negotiating with other fighters all at the same time and boo boo was just plan B stringing him along in case others refused to sign. Once Ward and Cotto signed they were out of their fighters budget and backed out the deal with boo boo. In business talk is cheap don't mean a thing unless you got ink on paper.
