Comments Thread For: Golovkin-Lemieux: Jennings Rejects Offer For Ortiz Clash

While fans are still overjoyed with the pending middleweight title unification bout between Gennady Golovkin and David Lemieux, the harder task for the moment appears to be piecing together the undercard.

The bout will top what has been suggested as a moderately-priced Pay-Per-View event, live from Madison Square Garden in New York City. The show will also include World flyweight champion Román Gonzalez, as well as a planned heavyweight fight involving unbeaten contender Luis Ortiz.

Jennings afraid of losing to Ortiz so turning it down. Pricing himself out the fight so he has an out to save face with his fans. Will end up fighting some bum next for a fraction of the money he turned down just watch. That would of been a great even fight.

Jennings will sit out another 16 months due to couldn't agree on terms anytime his name is mentioned for a fight
