Brooklyn, New York - Danny Garcia (30-0, 17 KO’s) expects big numbers for his fight with Paulie Malignaggi (33-6, 7 KO’s) this weekend at the Barclays Center, both live attendance and television viewers. This will be the second installment of PBC on ESPN. The first installment featured Keith Thurman defeating Luis Collazo. That bout peaked at 1.2 million viewers according to Nielsen Research. Whether people like it or not Danny is box office and draws great ratings. Also he shouldn't regret the Salka fight as it was one of the best spectacles in boxing last year.

Something about swift has exposed written all over him. I'm not fully convinced about his validity Yet.

If it doesn't do better then the Thurman fight it will be a disaster because those numbers were weak and a huge flop for PBC debut on ESPN. But the real nugget in what Danny said is he is basically admitting the Paulie fight isn't a tough fight. Saying I can't fight Matthysee fights every time out but after saturday we will get back on the path to great fights. At least he is being honest and admitting nobody wanted to see him fight Paulie and that this is a mismatch.

All these khan and matthysse fans are still upset with Danny, moreso khan fans bcuz Matthysse has bounced back to his previous standing. Khan hasnt.
Garcia shouldve called for the Mayweathrr fight after matthysse, it wouldvw made for a good fight. How Garcia sets up that left hook i think he could catch floyd, he'd probably eat alot of jabs to deliver it though
