Former champion Amir Khan is now eyeing a showdown in 2016 with his former Wild Card stablemate Manny Pacquiao, who held belts in eight weight divisions.

Khan and Pacquiao were at one time training, and sparring, side by side at Freddie Roach's Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, California. Khan left Roach in 2012 and hired Virgil Hunter, who still trains the British star.

Earlier this year, Pacquiao and Khan sat down in London to discuss the idea of a fight, but then Pacquiao finalized a deal to face Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 2nd.

This pretender rode Mayweathers name the last 2 years! Thats the ONLY reason hes relevant, it surely isnt his current opposition level. But now hes gonna ride Pacs name for the next year in a half! Here the idiot goes ....AGAIN....I'm being linked to the names of Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao when it's only the deluded one himself who is really begging for the paydays and mentioning their names!
Every fight this complete fool dreams about will be MASSIVE and when he was begging Floyd for the payday it was 'it would be the biggest fight ever.' I watched the start of his career with interest having done so well as an ametur but things soon went down hill with the 56 second brutal blitzing by a unknown , who did nothing before or nothing after and after being carefully matched they thought the'd got Garcia at the right time unbeaten but really untested and inexperienced with his best win to date coming with a win over an old and jaded out of his weight class Eric Morales , Khan had gone the same route with a completely shot Barrea but has we ALL know Garcia knocked Khan all over the ring with Khan staggering around on drunken legs defenceless and thankfully Khan was mercifully saved by kenny B.
Since this brutal and savage beating the Khans have opted to fight no one with any sort of power and HANDPICK their opponents but even this has now backfired !
Khan in his 'showcase fight' against a poor to average fighter struggled like hell and it can only be said .....it must be difficult and frustrating to be a Khan fan when all's your man does is lie to you!
