Comments Thread For: Frampton: Confident I'll Beat Quigg, No Rematch Needed

Belfast’s Carl Frampton (21-0, 14 KOs) has told TalkSport that he would only require one fight to settle his domestic rivalry with Bury’s Scott Quigg.

Eddie Hearn, Quigg’s promoter, has revealed that he is prepared to offer the IBF Super bantamweight titlist a two-fight deal—with one bout taking place in Manchester and the return in Ireland—but Frampton insists that he will get things right first time.

at this point rigo done it to himself..hbo first, but he isnt help..he should be staying busy overseas for good money..the fights will fall in his lap sooner than later hopefully, but these 2 guys have a beef and a superfight that goes beyond a call out...i dont think frampton wants to leave 122 without fightin rigo..just my opinion

Frampton and Barry have both said they will fight Rigo within 2 years, that was in September. If he beats Quigg chances are Rigo will be next summer!

They didn't say that. Frampton said he wants to fight Quigg first. Then either Santa Cruz or Rigo.

Come on Carl, think of poor Eddie. How is he going to milk the fight for a lucrative rematch if you spark him out the first time? No consideration from Carl.
