Comments Thread For: Khan: Maybe I'll Face 'Sometimes' Thurman in 2016

British star Amir 'King' Khan (31-3, 19KOs) is going to consider a possible fight with WBA 'regular' welterweight champion Keith 'One Time' Thurman (26-0, 22KOs) in 2016.

Khan says Thurman should probably change his nickname to 'sometimes' because he's been unable to get those impressive knockouts as of late.

Both Khan and Thurman were trying to get a crack at WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., who returns on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

So now Khan's gonna face Brook, Pac and Thurman? I'd be surprised if even one of Pac or Thurman came into fruition, let alone the Brook match he dodging like he owes it money.

Man.. wtf is up with this web site. Every other article is about some BS Khan said. Is he the only one who gives them interviews? Its like they got him on speed dial and they call him up when they don't have anything else to write about

'I''ll fight anyone' maybe and maybe ....this clown makes NO sense , next year , next year ...the Brook fight £100 million pounds ...maybe next year , thurman maybe next year but still thinks he has a right to fight the top fighter in the world today after coming off a terrible 'statement fight' over the great Chris Algieri ...I have never known a twat so deluded and so obviously limited in every way.

Hopefully mayweather retires so that the top fighters will stop tip toing around each other because they don't want to ruin there chance to get Floyd.

Sadly Khan put his career on hold so he could could get mayweather.

With him out the picture everyone will be fighting each other to prove there the best.

With Floyd still active you get a nice check and instant p4p status if you beat him all in one shot.

This fight is all wrong for khan, thurman is a big welterweight with power and he looks like he can pressure fighters too. Khan wont make this fight happen, hes just throwing his name out there for publicity. It wouldnt suprise me if thurman throws a jab back his way.
