Comments Thread For: Kovalev Excited at Prospects of Russian Homecoming

Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, NV - Sergey Kovalev insists he didn't want his victory over Nadjib Mohammedi to end so quickly. Kovalev demolished his over matched opponent in three rounds but said that he doesn't learn very much with early nights at the office.

"With each fight I try to get more experience. With this fight I didn't get much experience because it was too short. I tried to make it go longer but I couldn't make it last longer," Kovalev explained.

It's really great if they can make the fight with Beterbiev... this will indeed be an event in Moscow.

If it's going to be Beterbiev, best believe it will be televised by HBO. I mean they televised Nadjib Mohammedi a mandatory, so I don't see them not televising it.

Yes. Kovalev has a multi-fight agreement signed with HBO.
