Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, NV - BoxingScene.com caught up with Main Events' CEO Kathy Duva shortly after Sergey Kovalev's three round demolition of Nadjib Mohammedi. As reported by BoxingScene.com's Rick Reeno, Duva is hopeful that Kovalev will return to the ring in Moscow on November 28th and also revealed that she will make an offer to hard hitting Artur Beterbiev's promoter Yvon Michel to try to make an all Russian showdown.

nope but chilemba is a main events fighter just like Kov, and I'm not particular impressed by him even though he's ranked high, Kov would spark him in 6 IMO, but Kov should be only focused on getting ward or stevenson in there, beterbiev and fonfara would do just as well.

well ward's not ready and the stevenson, beterbiev and fonfara fights will almost certainly not happen because of the hbo/pbc divide. they can offer those guys fights all they want but haymon hasn't wanted to accept them is the problem. kovalev legally has to fight on hbo. they boxed him in and put all the pressure on haymon fairly or unfairly. does haymon want to make these fights? probabl not. he likes being in control.

Is this a joke ?! Gonzalez will be a "B side" opponent for Main Event's A-sidea guys! Main Events B-siders have NO shot of getting win if it goes to the judges! He has to see now that he'll be fed to Kovalev!

In the other thread there was consensus among the usual ******s that Duva rigged the scoring in the Pascal fight to make sure Gonzalez lost setting up a Kovalev-Pascal rematch.

Now it will be spun in the other direction -- it was rigged for Gonzalez to be fed to Kovalev, who is the new fall guy? Yeah ok

This is boxing! I can tell you 4-5 other times that Main Events protected their A-side fighter after he had clearly lost! Chambers schooled Adamek worse than Sam Peter, and Main Events robbed him at the score cards!
