Comments Thread For: Juan Manuel Marquez Eyes Final Return in Mexico

Former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez revealed on Golpe a Golpe that he's practically made the decision to return to the ring. He wants the fight to take place in Mexico against a very good opponent.

Marquez (56-7-1, 40KOs), 41-years-old, has been away from the ring since last May's twelve round decision victory over Mike Alvarado. Marquez's comeback has been stalled due to a lingering knee injury that prevented several potential return dates in 2014. [Click Here To Read More]

I understand his one final fight thoughts for his fans but if he still has a known injury then his final fight should have been his last one.
The ring is no place for fighters any less than 100% !

Will he knock his last opponent out cold or throw him across the ring with a falcon punch? You just never know what you are going to get with Juandroid Pedquez when he steps into the ring lol! He's been a bundke of fun and surprise ever since hooking up with Memo. : D Ill take a guess, I think he kills his last opponent as a strong statement to close his career OR knock him 2 rows into the crowd which has never been done before and would be one hell of a way to go out in Mexico.

Juan Marquez deserve this. This guy Manny a sleep and he knew that was never going to get a decision against him in a rematch and would have to KO Manny again. Priced himself out of a fight and was a close fight with Bradley but felt that he lost.
This man is a living legend and good luck to what ever he does. He has fought Pacquioa 4 time; Mayweather, Bradley and Barrera.
        good luck

What are you talking about? Marquez got plenty of ko's before the pac 4. He just never knocked down pacquio in first 3 fights. he was racking up ko's in between those 3 fights

I hope Marquez WANTS to fight again, and doesn't HAVE to fight again. I heard he was good with his money, and I hope it's true, because for a man that had 1 draw and 1 KO with Pacquiao, I doubt he's made half the money Pacquiao did! I wish JMM the best: TRUE WARRIOR!

As long as they hold true to their word and do fight a top notch A list fighter to retire on and not a sparring partner named fedchenko or Ramos then he would be doing his fans right. I doubt juan will ever see that next weight class title though.
