Comments Thread For: Klitschko-Fury Confirmed For 10/24 HBO Live Matinee

The most anticipated heavyweight clash in recent memory—if only for the considerable amount of press (negative or otherwise) the challenger will likely generate—will play to a matinee setting to HBO audiences.

Wladimir Klitschko will defend his World heavyweight championship versus brash unbeaten contender Tyson Fury on October 24 at ESPRIT Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany. The bout will air live on HBO at 5:00 p.m. ET, as well as on RTL in Germany, with whom Klitschko extended his long-standing relationship for his next five fights. [Click Here To Read More]

Wlad fights any and everyone. He's going to finish his career with this:

    Pulev (top HW. Undefeated)
    Povetkin (top HW. Undefeated)
    Jennings (Undefeated**)
    Fury (Undefeated stiff)
    Povetkin II/Wilder
    ??
    ??

Going out with a ****. I can't believe there are people who actually think Fury will have the SLIGHTEST bit of success against Wlad. This big, glass chinned, clumsy stiff is going to get ridiculed from the opening bell. His face is going to be a mess- and that's if he can even stand on his feet.

Fury is going to taste the canvas 3-5 times. That straight right down the pipe is going to obliterate the stiff.

I'd like to suggest a minor alteration to the article
      >Wladimir Klitschko will defend his World heavyweight championship versus brash oaf Tyson Fury on October 24 at ESPRIT Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Fury has looked impeccable in his last couple of fights. He can box well, he can **** and he can move well for a huge dude. If you think this is going to be an easy fight for Klitschko, you are wrong.

Nice to see Klits on HBO again, and looking forward to this matchup. Hopefully the 5pm time doesn't throw me off tho.

I forget which poster said it recently, but Fury has a good enough engine to make this last a while - he's shown it since the Johnson and Rogan fights, when he knows he's not blasting his man out of there.

If he doesn't suddenly see red (typical *****...) or get downright ****** like he did against Cunningham, the fight could be very interesting in the same way as the Jennings fight. Wladimir UD12, though.
