Tough middleweight Gabe Rosado (21-9, 13KOs) is pushing to get a shot at former WBC champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (49-2-1, 32KOs) in the fall.
Chavez was back in the ring earlier this month and won a tougher than expected ten round decision over countryman Marcos Reyes.
Rosado has been splitting his time between boxing and the newly started BKB (Big Knockout Boxing), which is similar to pro boxing with the combatants fighting in a small pit.
