Comments Thread For: Jack-Groves No Longer 8/22 on SHO; Date, Network TBA

Badou Jack will eventually make the first defense of his super middleweight title versus mandatory challenger George Groves. When exactly that fight takes place isn’t immediately clear.

The bout was originally targeted for August 22 in Las Vegas, with Showtime to televise. Those plans are no longer in the works, nor has there been confirmation—or any real indication—of when the fight will be rescheduled.

Jack vs Groves on the Floyd-Berto undercard. Book it.

wouldnt mind a 2 undercard bouts on a free floyd show..why not likely will only get one for free TV..might not even get one with floyd's 32 million..we might be jumping right into the fight from a cbs special on the fight or pac replay

Put in on the undercard of Floyd's last fight, I'm keen as for this fight! Would be a great battle to see if Groves has something left.

This is obviously going to land on the Floyd undercard. If the Floyd fight is ppv, they will need to stack the undercard because the Berto match-up does not sound too intriguing. However, if CBS is going to air the fight, then the undercard does not to be stacked. Mayweather/Berto, Spence/Porter or Thurman, and Jack/Groves.

Was looking forward to it being on that date in august as its a boxing wasteland the next month, pretty much until labor day, this is a decent enough scrap to get me hyped. Hbo's had a poor showing during these dog days of summer.

This is lame, I was expecting something new for Sept.12th undercard not something we were already getting. Typical.
