Herrera improved to 22-5-1, 7 KOs with the win before over a partisan crowd of 4,672 at the Sports Arena.

With this article alone,Herrera moves into my top 5 current favorite fighters. Dude gets all cut up in his last fight,and you don't hear a single complain from him. Anyone else in his position would ask for someone ranked in the high 50s of his division for his next fight,but who does he ask for? Lucas,and provodnikov. The guy has balls the size of coconuts.

Herrera deserved the win against Lundy and deserves a big name fight next. First 2 rounds were marred by Lundy's headbutts. Once Herrera got over the shock of the headbutts he was outboxing Lundy. I had it first 2 rounds for Lundy next 2 for Herrera who had all the momentum heading into the 5th. Since they stop the fight in middle of the 5th they have to still score that partial round. A round that Lundy did nothing. So it's either a draw if you refuse to give either fighter that round or you give it to Herrera and he wins the fight. Lundy looked like a fool celebrating talking smack and even taking shots at Danny Garcia after the stoppage. So I don't feel bad that he lost the fight. Herrera doesn't need to fight Lundy again he needs to fight Ruslan, Crawford or Matthysee.

Herrera's huevos have never been in question however the first fight wasn't really that entertaining and I had it draw or Herrera winning by 1 point. No point doing it again unless Ruslan just wants revenge.

Herrera deserves a big fight again. Hopefully money don't play a role in the outcome. This guys been robbed to many times. IMO he should get Danny rematch next but we all know that won't happen.
