  • Comments Thread For: Hearn: Amir Khan Mentions Everyone at 147 - But Brook!

Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport is still very interested in making a huge domestic fight between IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (34-0, 25KOs) of Sheffield and top contender Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) of Bolton.

Hearn very much doubts the fight will happen. Khan is trying to secure a shot at WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Brook is a complete nobody. Much rather see Amir fight top fighters then slap Brook around after the big dogs retire. Someone needs to pass that torch to Amir

TurducKhan-is a fighter consisting of a deboned Chicken stuffed into a deboned Duck, which is in turn stuffed into a spinless turkey.

He knows Brook would beat him, thus giving him the satisfaction and taking away the pay day against Mayweather and that's the reason he won't fight him. Simple.

As a fight fan it's a real shame that Amir won't entertain the idea of this fight.

But if I was Amir Khan or a part of his family I would want absolutely nothing to do with this match up. It's a near certain 12 rounds of bludgeoning for Khan or if he's lucky he might get away with an Ian John Lewis stoppage.

No boxer is a coward but the nearest thing to it is Con.Watch if he doesn't get Floyd and he shouldn't he will have to fight some one and every time Mr.vulnerable steps in the ring chances are he's going to look bad , get clipped or even knocked out as has happened twice before in brutal fashion.
He don't want to face Brook for all the money in the world , it's been put to him time and time again , he knows Brook will deal with him in brutal fashion and he must know that "we made a little mistake in there" bollocks is just being laughed at.

History will show Khan ducked Brook. We all know Khan is overrated and limited: he can only beat a certain type of stylistic opponent, i.e., light-punching fighters.

His best win was against a pre-Robert Garcia Maidana and when he was under Freddie Roach. He was running for his life in that fight and to me even that fight was debatable although I thought he won by one point because of the Knock down he scored...

I think Khan knows if he loses to Brook, he loses that U.K. support, and that's all he has left.

Despite all that said, Mayweather selecting Berto over Khan is pretty much his right. Khan got a gift against Algieri and to me lost any momentum to land the Floyd fight..

Kinda like when Bradley did EXCEPT Khan!

When Bradlet ducked Khan, it was considered a good business decision SMDH!!!!

Before people start going off saying he got the Pacquiao fight, Bradley did not have the Pacquiao fight yet. It wasn't even being negotitaited, his excuse was he wanted to be in the Pacquiao sweepstakes, and people wanna crucify Khan for trying to be a part of the Floyd sweepstakes
