WBO light flyweight champion Donnie "Ahas" Nietes was examined by Dr. Carmelo Arebajo, a bone and joint specialist yesterday morning following an injury to his right hand in the 7th round of his masterful title defense against former WBO minimum weight champion and mandatory challenger Francisco Rodriguez of Mexico before a jam-packed crowd at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Cebu on Saturday night.
